Category Management

Categories help you organize and track your financial transactions effectively. AI2Fin allows you to create custom categories, set tax deductibility, and organize your expenses for better financial management.

Access Categories

Navigate to the Categories page to create and manage your transaction categories.

How to Access Categories

Primary Navigation Path

Open Sidebar Navigation

Click the hamburger menu (☰) on mobile or use the sidebar on desktop.

Navigate to Personalize

In the sidebar, find “2. Personalize” section with the gear icon.

Click Categories

Click “Categories” to access the category management page.

Alternative Access Methods

From All Transactions

Via All TXns:
  1. Go to “3. Analysis & Management” → “All TXns”
  2. Use category dropdown on transactions
  3. Click “Manage Categories” option
  4. Access full category management

Dashboard Quick Access

From Dashboard:
  1. Go to Dashboard (top of sidebar)
  2. Look for category-related widgets
  3. Click on category links
  4. Navigate to category management

Top Controls:
  • Page Title: “Categories” with category count

Create New Category

  1. Click “Create Category” button
  2. Fill in category details:
    • Category name
