Why this exists
A live feed needs a provider that reaches your bank, a subscription, and a consent that expires. A statement file needs none of that. Many banks — retail and business — export at least one of these formats from online banking, and the desktop app reads it with the network off. The Connectors search sends you here when no live feed matches your bank. It is a real answer, not a fallback.Supported formats

Online banking → statements / export → pick OFX, QFX, QIF, CAMT or MT940.

Formats that carry an account ID are matched automatically; QIF asks you to
