Why this exists

A live feed needs a provider that reaches your bank, a subscription, and a consent that expires. A statement file needs none of that. Many banks — retail and business — export at least one of these formats from online banking, and the desktop app reads it with the network off. The Connectors search sends you here when no live feed matches your bank. It is a real answer, not a fallback.

Supported formats

Where a bank exports none of these, CSV or PDF still works.

Import

1

Export from your bank

Online banking → statements / export → pick OFX, QFX, QIF, CAMT or MT940.
2

Drop it into AI2Fin

Connectors → Statement file, or drag it onto the Transactions page. On the desktop app you can also point a watched folder at your downloads and forget about it.
3

Confirm the account

Formats that carry an account ID are matched automatically; QIF asks you to choose.

Deduplication

Re-importing an overlapping statement is safe. Transactions are fingerprinted on date, amount, description and account; anything already present is skipped and anything ambiguous goes to review rather than being imported twice.
